The one with a massive queue in Nunhead – we saw Jesse Ware there recently. Ayres Bakery have a Christmas display and are selling giftable cakes and seasonal pastries to takeaway.

Hardly the smallest maker on the list, but still worth a shout out as their donuts are flipping amazing. They sell a variety of gift boxes too.
North & East London
The one with a massive queue in Hackney. This one doesn't sell particularly seasonal things, but it's by far our favourite London bakery and well worth the queue.
Head in to Ta'Mini to fulfil all your za'atar & tahini needs.
Simple but perfect sourdough creations in West London.
If you can't make it to Scotland, at least head to their Instagram page and give them a follow because their food styling is heavenly. You can order hampers and beautifully packaged nougat & biscuits for delivery.
